Captain's Pinning and Swearing-in Ceremony

Newly appointed Captain's Jeff Nawfel and James Moore participated in the departments first pinning and swearing-in ceremony last night at Town Hall. Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, Karl Ekstedt, pinned the two with their Captain's badges. Family members were present to pin on the Captain's lapel pins. They were then sworn in by the Town to uphold the duties of a Captain. The ceremony was followed up by a small gathering at the Corner Station to celebrate what we hope will become a new tradition.
